You’ll be setting off very early in the morning from Kwitonda Lodge for the 7am pre-gorilla trekking briefing at the PNV park headquarters, a very short drive from Kwitonda Lodge. The treks will be led by experienced ranger guides and vary from anywhere from 4 hours to 8 hours depending on the gorilla family you’ll be tracking and how far high up in the mountain rainforest the gorillas will be ranging on that gorilla tracking day.
