Tanzania adventure safari tour to explore the vast savannah of Serengeti and the wildlife game rich Ngorongoro Crater. The safari starts in Kilimanjaro, for the adventure enthusiasts can start with a hike or climb of the mighty mountain Kilimanjaro before immersing yourself into a memorable Tanzania Northern Circuit safari holiday. DAY 1 – ARRIVE JRO/ARUSHA

Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport into a waiting safari 4×4 vehicle. You will be met by our Tanzania safari driver guide who will transfer you to Arusha where you will be met by our safari representative for a pre-safari briefing. You will be briefed about your safari, your safari itinerary, safari accommodation, safari activities and everything associated with your 7 days Africa safari adventure in the safari capital of the world-Tanzania.

DAY 2 – ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE

We grab a heavy breakfast at Arusha Planet Lodge before getting into our safari 4×4 vehicles with our professional expert Tanzania safari guide and driver. We will have a chance to have a quick stop over in Arusha to grab any last minute items and anything else you may have forgotten to bring with you from for the safari.
We then head out to Tarangire and check into our Serena Tarangire Lodge on arrival.
After lunch we’ll head out into Tarangire Park for an afternoon game drive. We’ll have a chance to spot some big herds of elephants and the giant baobab trees that are famous in Tarangire National Park. We then head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3 – TARANGIRE
Tarangire
We’ll have a very early start today back into Tarangire National Park for a full day’s safari game drives in the park in search of the cats and the big five. We shall return to the lodge for lunch with a dip in the lodge’s swimming pool to cool off, before we return to the park for an evening game drive.

DAY 4 – TARANGIRE TO SERENGETI
Tarangire.
Today we depart from Tarangire to Serengeti our next target safari objective on our safari itinerary. After breakfast, it is time to jump into our 4×4 safari vehicles and head to the vast world renowned Serengeti National Park.
As we head to Serengeti, we shall enjoy splendid views of the Great Rift Valley and the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. We shall have a scheduled stop over enroute to visit the Mto Wa Mbu Village as well as a local market to get a feel of life of the local Tanzanian tribes.
As we drive towards our accommodation for the next 2 nights, we ‘ll enjoy great views of the endless Serengeti open savanna lands.

DAY 5 – SERENGETI
Serengeti
Today we shall spend the entire day in the vast endless plains of the Serengeti in search of the big five including the cats, lions, leopards, tigers, elephants, buffalos as well as the wildebeest annual migration if our safari coincides with the great annual spectacle of thousands of wildebeest and zebras as the scramble to cross the Mara River into Kenya’s Masai Mara or on their way back to the Serengeti in search of green and fresh pastures.
You may if you prefer, have an option hot air balloon safari to spot the wildlife and game up-close and personal from the air. We later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 6 – SERENGETI TO NGOROGORO CRATER
Serengeti
We have a rather early start today with a quick breakfast before leaving the Serengeti and head to Ngorongoro Crater. We’ll have game drives enroute out of the Serengeti.
We arrive to Ngorongoro in the early afternoon hours. There is an abundance of animals, wildlife and game here. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the safari highlights. Now wonder it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site because of the diversity of wildlife, flora & fauna as well as birdlife found at the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater.
Lunch will be picnic lunch to enable us maximise time for safari game drives here spotting large herds of buffalos, elephants, giraffes and the best chances of seeing lions, leopards and all the predators as they hunt down their prey.

DAY 7 – NGOROGORO CRATER TO ARUSHA
Ngorongoro Crater
All good things must come to an end. Today is our last day for the safari. We’ll have breakfast at Karatu Tented Lodge before we head out of Ngorongoro and head back to Arusha with game drives on the way. We’ll soak in the dramatic views of the Great Rift Valley as we drive back to Arusha. The 7 days safari tour adventure to some of the best and most game prolific National Parks and Game Reserves is now over, and head home we now must. Safari Njema to your next destination or back home as we would say in Swahili.
